      What's this about a video?

Every one of our Team Plover collars and/or leashes sold, helps to rescue a dog in need and comes with a short video of that dog you helped! Yes you read that right, you get to see the exact dog you impacted. It's part of our commitment to transparency, created by our founder who wanted each of you to experience the same feeling of joy he felt when helping to rescue dogs.

      What our Customers are Saying?

How we help to rescue dogs?

The easiest way to explain how we help rescue dogs is with an example.

It was December of 2019 and Bridget continued to be overlooked in a high-kill shelter in California. To make matters worse, she was placed on the dreaded "at risk" list. She found her way onto the list due to her "Shyness and length of time at the shelter."

It's a sad reality that when shelters become full, pets get euthanized to free up space. Who exactly ends up on the list is often based off who the shelter believes is "least likely to be adopted." For no fault of her own, Bridget was one of those dogs.

It seemed as if best case scenario, Bridget would be spending the holidays alone in her concrete cell in the shelter.

      However there was hope...

A rescue from Oregon found out about Bridget and was willing to take her into their care and help her start a new life. But the challenge was that Bridget was in California and the rescue was all the way up in Oregon.

So on December 21st, just in time for the holidays, we got Bridget a one way trip from Modesto, California all the way up to the Oregon/Washington border, into the care of her foster home.

Since then, Bridget has been adopted into a loving furever home and is living the life every dog deserves to live.

How this all ties together is this:

For every Team Plover collar or leash sold. We commit to transporting one dog in need, on one leg, 25 mi (40 km) of their freedom ride toward a better life. Along with your purchase, you get a short video showing the pet you helped rescue.
